## Summary

The Lancashire Constabulary has undertaken a procurement process for the "Wellbeing - National Wellbeing Survey", aimed at designing, delivering, and analysing a comprehensive survey for the National Police Wellbeing Service (NPWS). This project, part of the social research services industry, has been classified under CPV code 79311000 and has a total contract value of £96,000. The procurement method used was a competitive quotation under a limited procurement process, with the contract period starting on 1st September 2020 and concluding on 31st March 2021. The tender was awarded to Durham University on 24th August 2020, following the closure of the tender period on 27th July 2020.

This procurement presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in survey design and analysis, particularly those with experience in social research services. Companies capable of delivering accessible survey solutions to large populations, as required by the NPWS's survey for approximately 240,000 officers and police staff, would be well-suited to participate in similar tenders. The focus on predictive modelling and longitudinal data analysis also indicates a need for firms with advanced analytical capabilities, allowing them to leverage this contract to expand their portfolio in public sector engagements.

## Notice

Provide predictive modelling and analysis capability; 3. Model results on a national mean score, not a league table; 4. Be multi-tiered and take no longer than15 minutes to complete; 5. Produce a report that can includes longitudinal analysis with the previous National Wellbeing Survey Report. The NWPS sent the project to a number of universities and Durham were selected for the project
