The town has a resident population of c. 8,000. It is unlikely that a hearing will be required. In addition, the screening opinion indicates that the Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations does not apply and an SEA is not required. Progression of the Examination is therefore likely to be using written representations, but this will be subject on the number and complexity of Reg. 16 consultation responses. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
