## Summary

The Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a service provider for a Water Management contract, aimed at ensuring compliance with Legionella management in their water systems. This procurement process is currently in the Award stage, with the contract valued at £200,000 for an initial period starting from 1st July 2019, and a tender submission deadline of 10th May 2019. The procurement method employed is an open procedure, welcoming competition from firms within the industry of consulting services for water-supply and waste-water. The service is to be delivered in the South East of England, with specific focus on providing directly employed staff for Legionella and water treatment services.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in water safety management and compliance services, particularly those qualified to handle Legionella control and water treatment. Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, as the contractual model favours direct employment over subcontracting, potentially allowing SMEs to demonstrate their in-house capabilities and expertise. Businesses engaged in providing solutions for domestic cold and hot water services, along with related plumbing equipment, will be particularly well-suited to compete for this contract.

This contract will support the Authority in meeting their objectives and ensuring that they meet all statutory requirements and standards.
