## Summary

The West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), represented by Attain, is currently in the planning stage for a tender titled "Improving Access to Psychological Therapies - Any Qualified Provider." This initiative aims to enhance counselling services for individuals experiencing mild mental health issues, such as depression and anxiety. A market engagement session is scheduled for 30th July 2019, from 3.30pm to 4.30pm at Building 4, Spencer Close, St Margaret's Hospital, Epping, CM16 6TN. Interested parties must register by 26th July 2019 at 5pm. The procurement process is classified under the Health services category.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) specialising in psychological and counselling services. By participating in this market engagement session, businesses can gain valuable insights into the CCG's procurement intentions, thus enhancing their competitive edge for future contracts. Companies that can provide IAPT-compliant counselling are particularly well-positioned to benefit from this opportunity, as the CCG seeks to expand its service offerings through an approved provider list.

## Notice

West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is inviting suitably qualified providers to attend a market engagement event which will inform the market of the CCGs intentions to commission an Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) compliant counselling service for service users with mild mental health problems such as depression and anxiety. This activity is additional to the CCGs existing IAPT service and would be required to complement such through the establishment of an Any Qualified Provider (AQP) approved list. The format of the event will be a presentation from the commissioners. The information gathered will support commissioners to understand better the service model to put in place and will be used to inform the approach to the procurement process. The market engagement event will take place on Tuesday 30th July 2019, from 3.30pm - 4.30pm at Building 4 Spencer Close, St Margaret's Hospital, The Plain, Epping, CM16 6TN. To register your interest in attending, please go to https://attain.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login.html The closing date for registering your attendance is Friday 26th July 2019 at 5pm. Due to limitations on space attendance is restricted to a maximum of 2 representatives per organisation. Please Note: Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken by you prior to any subsequent procurement is a matter solely for your own commercial judgement. The commissioners reserve the right to withdraw from the process at any time or to not tender the service or to tender on a different basis. In such circumstances, and in any event, the commissioners and/or their advisors shall not be liable for any costs or loss of expenses whatsoever incurred by any organisation, agent or subsidiary that may have contributed to any proposals submitted to this notice.
