## Summary

NHS Shared Business Services is seeking expressions of interest for the provision of Primary Medical Services at Randolph Surgery, located at 235a Elgin Avenue, Maida Vale, London, W9 1NH. The procurement process is currently in the planning stage, with the intention to initiate a caretaker general practice service from 9th May 2019 until 31st March 2020, followed by a substantive contract starting 1st April 2020 for an anticipated five-year term. The total budget for the interim contract is estimated between £800,000 and £900,000, and interested providers should submit their interest by 12 noon on Monday, 11th February 2019, to Zahra.parvar@nhs.net.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses in the healthcare sector, particularly those specialising in general practice services. Providers capable of delivering healthcare solutions swiftly would be well-suited to compete, especially those with experience in managing similar contracts or working within the NHS framework. The proactive engagement with potential providers during the planning phase highlights the urgency and potential for lucrative contracts, making this an attractive opportunity for companies looking to expand their presence in the healthcare industry.

## Notice

Expressions of interest are invited for the provision of Primary Medical Services (PMS) from within the Randolph Practice, 235a Elgin Avenue, Maida Vale, London, W9 1NH. NHS Central London CCG wishes to explore solutions for two, linked opportunities: - An interim contract for the provision of a 'caretaker' general practice service from 9th May 2019 until 31st March 2020; and - A subsequent substantive contract from 1st April 2010 for approximately a 5 year term. Whilst NHS Central London CCG is undertaking a patient and public engagement, it has an urgency to understand what potential interest there might be from providers assessing their ability to offer a caretaker solution in the coming weeks. The existing PMS practice has a registered raw patient list of 8444 and a weighted list size of 7972 as of 1st January 2019. It is anticipated, that the existing premises will be made available for immediate use by a replacement provider organisation. There is understood to be existing workforce with TUPE entitlement and transfer interest. Funding for the interim contract is likely to involve the Londonwide Alternative Provider of Medical Services (APMS) tariff plus an enhanced caretaker supplement and in total have a value circaPS800 - PS900k for the life of the interim contract. Additional income from locally commissioned services may also be available to the provider. To EXPRESS YOUR INTEREST, find out more and commence an engagement with the CCG, please RESPOND BY EMAIL to Zahra.parvar@nhs.net with the email subject heading "PMS Contract Opportunity Interest" by 12 noon, Monday 11th February 2019. Your response should confirm whether your interest is in regard to the interim caretaker contract from May 2019, the 5 year subsequent contract from April 2020, or both. Interested providers will be sent further information about this potential opportunity, including the intended service specification, commercial model, and procurement timeline to enable a 9th May 2019 service commencement. If a competition is to be used to award a contract for the interim caretaker service, this is likely to be run as an accelerated process. Responses are not a prerequisite to bidding, should the CCG decide to run any competitive process, however the CCG reserves the right to interpret a lack of responses as reasonable evidence against the use of a competitive process.
