EKFB is seeking to appoint a competent subcontractor to undertake the M&E package of works for each building. The scope of works includes but is not limited to the supply, storage, installation, balancing, testing, commissioning, bringing into use, handover, and provision of operational maintenance (O&M) and staff training, encompassing the following systems: natural ventilation system; general mechanical heat recovery ventilation system; temperature control ventilation system; mechanical cooling system; electrical heating system; building management system; automatic monitoring and control; fire detection and alarm; fire hydrant system; gas suppression system; normal and emergency lighting for the portal building and its compound; power supply systems within the portal building; provision of ducts/trench routing for power and communications connectivity between the portal building and tunnels; low voltage (LV) power distribution, including lighting, small power, emergency lighting, mechanical cooling, and heating systems; critical power distribution for communications rooms and other essential services; uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and essential power supply distribution systems; lightning protection system; earthing and bonding system; cable management systems; utility coordination and interface; coordination and interface with portal buildings and their compound designers and contractors; and interface with rail system design and contractors.
