The guidance in this requirement will be needed by Q1 of 2021 when the FSO may be revised to reflect the outcome of the Fire Safety Consultation. One of the two new guides required is an accessible but comprehensive 'how to' guidance that can be used by any person/company categorised as a 'Responsible Person'. It should be a starting point to enable them to discharge all their duties, linking to other guides where more detail is required for a particular duty. Implementation guidance will also be needed for any changes made to the FSO. The requirement also seeks updates to 4 existing pieces of guidance (e.g. Fire Safety in Purpose Built Blocks of Flats) whose aim is to address issues raised with these guides by stakeholders and ensure they are fully consistent with the FSO following any revisions. This procurement will be managed electronically via the Home Office's eSourcing Portal (JAGGAER). To participate in this procurement, participants must first be registered on the eSourcing Portal.
