## Summary

The Parliament UK is initiating a tender for the 'Northern Estate Programme: Main Works Contracting Partner' to appoint a contractor for pre-construction services and construction/refurbishment works. This significant procurement falls under the construction industry category, with a tender period concluding on 28 March 2017, and the contract period set to commence on 16 April 2018, extending until 15 April 2024. The estimated contract value ranges from £400 million to £650 million, highlighting a major investment in refurbishment activities within the Parliamentary Estate, located in London, United Kingdom. The procurement method employed is selective, following a negotiated procedure.

This project presents a substantial opportunity for construction firms, particularly those experienced in large-scale refurbishment and restoration efforts. Companies specialising in architectural, engineering, and construction services, including those adept at working in historical contexts, will find this tender relevant. As the procurement is expected to span several years, it offers potential for sustained business growth and collaboration with established design and project management partners. Interested suppliers must indicate their company status and familiarity with such large-scale projects to effectively compete for this opportunity.
