Due to the close proximity of neighbouring properties, an element of planting/screening would be required whilst also avoiding developing areas that could attract anti-social behaviour. The key requirements of the project are: o Design and build of BMX track to ROSPA and British Cycling standards that is sympathetic in terms of mitigating impact on the environment o Provision of maintenance for 12 months post installation o Installation of walkways for access to the BMX facility o Reinforced access way for maintenance and emergency vehicles o Management of drainage on site o Planting to assist in mitigating visual impact of BMX tack on neighbouring properties o Consideration to be given to other play facilities which are to be installed as a subsequent phase of the development Additional information: The Authority is using the In-tend e-tendering portal to conduct the procurement process ("the e-Tendering Portal").
