Construction of a new 2-storey station building with attached 2 double bay vehicle garage with a total floor area of approximately 900m2, ancillary smoke training building and garage, associated external works and car parking. Bidders should note that during the contract the fire crews will have to remain on site in temporary accommodation both for the crews and garaging for the appliances. The temporary appliance garaging is to be arranged by the Contractor on the basis of a specification to be detailed within the Employers Requirements as the first phase of the project. The project will require to be suitably phased to allow the construction works to be sequenced to allow the build to be progressed whilst safe access and egress to the temporary accommodation for fire crews and appliances is maintained.
