## Summary

The Metropolitan Police Service is seeking suppliers for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of a Stratasys F370 3D printer, valued at £50,000. This tender is currently in the award stage, with an important deadline for electronic quotations set for 14 July 2021, and the contract period scheduled to commence from 26 July 2021 and conclude on 27 July 2021. The procurement process was undertaken through a request for quote method, classified under engineering services due to the nature of installation and maintenance required.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses in the engineering and maintenance sectors, especially those specialising in advanced manufacturing technologies. Companies that provide installation services and ongoing technical support for industrial equipment would be particularly well-suited to compete for this contract. Given the scale of the Metropolitan Police Service, successful bidders could also benefit from potential future contracts within this large and established organisation.
