## Summary

The Lifeline, Lone Worker and Out of Hours Call Monitoring Services contract was managed by Cannock Chase District Council under a selective procurement method through the ESPO framework. Staffordshire County Council served as the buying organisation. The procurement, classified under the CPV code 85000000 for Health and social work services, aimed to provide a telecare alarm service, including a 24-hour monitoring service for sheltered housing schemes in the West Midlands, United Kingdom. Key milestones included the award on 26th May 2026 and the commencement of the contract period on 1st September 2026, set to conclude on 31st August 2030.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in telecare and monitoring services, especially those catering to health and social care. With the procurement directed towards providing essential services in managing approximately 5,000 social housing units and offering telecare devices, it is well-suited for SMEs and VCSEs. The competitive advantage would be particularly beneficial for companies experienced in providing comprehensive call monitoring services and equipped to operate within the specified region. Redditch Borough Council T/A NEW Lifeline was awarded the contract, indicating the potential for collaboration or subcontracting opportunities for businesses in this sector.
