## Summary

The NHS Increasing Capacity Framework, facilitated by NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit, aims to enhance healthcare service delivery under the health services industry category. The contract period commenced on 20th November 2020 and will conclude on 19th November 2024, with the possibility of a 24-month extension. The procurement method employed was an open procedure, and it involved 98 providers, of which 88 met the necessary criteria. Key activities covered include NHS inpatient and day case services, diagnostic services, and clinical facilities aimed at addressing waiting lists, highlighting the importance of timely delivery in the healthcare sector.

This framework presents significant growth opportunities for healthcare providers, particularly those capable of offering specialised clinical services. Businesses with expertise in NHS services, diagnostics, and related health facilities are particularly well-suited to participate in this tender process. With a substantial estimated value exceeding £10 billion, companies looking to improve their competitive edge in the thriving health services sector can leverage the framework to establish contracts with various NHS organisations across the United Kingdom.
