Works in scope may comprise some or all of the following and other related works: * Alterations or extension to the existing wharf and slipway at Rothera, Antarctica * New station buildings at Rothera, Antarctica * Aircraft hangar recladding & extension at Rothera, Antarctica * Repairs to the aircraft landing strip at Rothera,Antarctica * Additional bulk fuel storage tanks circa 230m3 each including bunding at Rothera * Bulk fuel facilities tanks at all other stations tank size circa 20 - 25m3 * New station buildings and facilities at Signy and other Islands in the Antarctic region * The demolition of existing buildings & disposal of waste outside Antarctica * New or re-furbished jetties at island research locations * New facilities resulting from changes in science requirements * Warehousing in the UK, South Atlantic & Antarctica * Alteration to Science and Communications towers and other infrastructure * Renewable energy installations * Various construction works in Cambridge and other UK locations The Authority anticipates that an Industry Day will be held during May or June 2016.
