The sliding door will need to withstand a minimum fire resistance of 60 minutes and is required at every emergency opening within the Tunnels, resulting in a total of 18no temporary cross passage doors. These should cover an approximate area of 1800x2000mm. The temporary cross passage doors will be supplied and installed on demand, following the pre-cast concrete tunnels' installation (done by another sub-contractor), which means these activities will be completed in multiple visits.
