## Summary

The University of Sheffield is seeking a provider for Named Veterinary Services through an open procurement process designated as tender number 1961/LM. This contract, classified under veterinary services, has an estimated value of £130,000 and is located in Yorkshire and the Humber, England. The tender period concluded on 3rd July 2018, and the contract is set to commence on 13th October 2018, lasting until 12th October 2020. Interested suppliers had to express their interest via the University's e-tendering system and submit their tenders by the specified deadline to be considered.

This procurement represents a significant opportunity for businesses experienced in veterinary services, particularly small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that can deliver comprehensive veterinary care and advice aligned with the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986. Companies that specialise in animal welfare, health monitoring, and veterinary training would be well-positioned to compete. By engaging in this tender, suppliers can expand their client base, contribute to animal welfare in research settings, and establish long-term relationships with a prominent educational institution.
