Funeral Service provision is required for patients: a) who have no next of kin; b) whose relatives cannot be traced; c) whose relatives cannot afford to pay or are unwilling to take responsibility; d) are babies under 24 weeks gestation; e) are still born babies and infants The Trust wishes the successful contractor to provide a highly professional, quality, compassionate, sensitive service for the deceased patients, ensuring that the final arrangements for them are provided in a dignified manner whether or not mourners are in attendance. The tender will be split in to 2 lots - Lot 1: Frimley Park Hospital and Lot 2: Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospital with suppliers having the opportunity to tender for one of both of the lots. The contract(s) will be awarded for an initial period of 2 years with an option to extend for up to 12 months.
