## Summary

Portsmouth City Council is inviting suppliers to participate in a market consultation for a new caseload management and document management system intended for its Planning Directorate, Regulatory Services, Private Sector Housing, and Licensing areas. This procurement process falls under the industry category of Software package and information systems (CPV: 48000000) and related subcategories. The council plans to engage with suppliers through an informal discussion on 29th October 2024, following the market consultation period ending on 29th November 2024. Key dates include the start of the contract on 1st April 2025 and its conclusion on 1st April 2026. The procurement method is currently specified as "Other." Interested parties should complete the provided questionnaire to offer their market insights and assist in the development of a high-quality specification.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for businesses involved in software development, particularly those specialising in industry-specific solutions and miscellaneous software packages. Companies with expertise in caseload and document management systems are particularly well-suited for this project. By participating in the market consultation, businesses can influence PCC's final tender specifications, potentially positioning themselves advantageously for the upcoming formal tender process. Although participation does not confer any competitive advantage, it allows firms to showcase their capabilities and innovation directly to Portsmouth City Council, fostering potential future collaborations.

## Notice

Similarly, organisations not participating in the market consultation will not be disadvantaged.
