The Council aims to make Beckenham Place Park the well-loved community asset it should be, as the largest park in South East London with significant ecological and historical value. We have been awarded PS5 million from the Heritage Lottery Fund to support a comprehensive restoration scheme at Beckenham Place Park and we are about to embark on the delivery phase of the project, with the aim of completing works in May 2019. The landscape contract is being tendered alongside a contract to restore several heritage buildings within the park.
