## Notice

The main purpose of Children's Integrated Therapy and Equipment Service (CITES) is to provide equipment on loan to disabled children and young people living in East Sussex. The equipment service delivers, collects, decontaminates and repairs and is also responsible for carrying out minor adaptations to the home. The Service shall be provided in a manner that meets the principles of Best Value, including but not limited to value for money, service quality, service performance, high levels of customer care and communications and best and appropriate use of all available resources. The main components of the Service include, but are not limited to: * Procuring where agreed, storing, delivering and the setting-up (to include specialist set-up by supplier representatives) of specific items of prescribed equipment (utilising recycled equipment where appropriate) * Administering, overseeing and quality checking any minor modifications and/or adaptations undertaken by sub-contractors * Maintaining an appropriate inventory system capable of real-time tracking of equipment * Establishing close working links with Clinicians and Prescribers in CITES and other community teams and health care establishments * Producing monthly management reports and keeping of all records To be delivered in accordance with the following four schedules that are outlined below: 1. Storage and Logistics 2. Minor Adaptation 3. Maintenance and Repair 4. Recycling (Decontamination and Refurbishment)
