This consists of a single storey extension, to be built on to the existing staff room, extending into an inner courtyard. The existing staffroom will be remodelled and refurbished. In addition, there will be external works and landscaping to provide enclosed external spaces for staff use. Due to buildability issues with limited access to the courtyard, the design includes for timber frame construction with a view to minimising wet trades and allowing for craning materials and components into place. The anticipated tender period will be from January 2020 to February, with a view to an earliest start on site in April 2020.
