The Council has in place internal processes for identifying businesses and hereditaments for business rates purposes, including a team of revenue inspectors. The contractor will be expected to provide information on businesses/hereditaments which are not, for whatever reason, held within the Council's current database and which should be held within the database for the purpose of charging business rates.
