## Summary

The University of Sunderland is initiating a tender to establish a framework agreement for Enterprise Consultants aimed at supporting new business start-ups among students and graduates. This procurement is classified under the services category (CPV Code: 80500000) and follows an open procedure. The location for delivery is Sunderland, North East England, with a specific focus on consultancy services in areas such as business planning, human resources, marketing, and social enterprise.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in consultancy services, especially those with expertise in supporting early-stage ventures. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are particularly well-suited to compete for this contract. The specialised nature of the consultancy services, which includes guidance on business planning and marketing strategies, makes this an attractive opportunity for firms knowledgeable in nurturing new enterprises and helping them succeed in their initial phases. Furthermore, as this is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), businesses with experience in similar funding structures may find this opportunity fitting.
