## Summary

The NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit is currently facilitating a tender for the "East and West Norfolk Community Wellbeing Hub," which falls under the health and social work services industry category. The procurement is at the tender stage, with an open procedure method, and the deadline for submissions is 15th January 2021. The contract period is set to commence on 1st April 2021 and continue until 31st March 2026. The estimated value of the contract is approximately £1,075,001, and the delivery locations are situated in the East of England, specifically Norfolk.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses that specialise in health services, community support, and mental health initiatives. Companies that can provide innovative community engagement solutions, operate cafés that promote social inclusivity, or offer psychological support services would be particularly well-suited to compete for this contract. The emphasis on establishing supportive environments and community well-being makes this an attractive prospect for organisations looking to expand their footprint in social care and community services.

## Notice

The Service(s) will be required to meet the following needs: * Establish an evening hub model that sits at the heart of the community and operates in a safe and friendly environment in both locations. The environment, and everything associated with it, shall be psychologically informed - in line with Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) principles. * Use a social navigation and enabling approach, to empower people to stay well in their community and at home, rather than employing a more traditional 'problem-solving' approach. * Operate a community cafe, where not otherwise provided, to support those who feel socially isolated and will aim to help de-stigmatise mental health and mental distress. The cafe should be open to the public and be aimed at the whole population. * Offer sanctuary for people experiencing mental ill-health and mental distress. It will include a calm and safe space, providing practical and emotional support, which can be used as an alternative to admission if appropriate. * Offer courses of support, with a combination of advice, support and information, as well as group support. This will include light-touch follow up support for an agreed period of time.
