The readout system must collect the data from 100 analogue outputs, digitise to 14bit precision, combine the data from all of modules, conduct an offset corrections per pixel and save the data to a PC with a total frame rate of 10kHz with the ability to store list mode event data with 16bit values and present the data as a calibrated energy spectrum of the detected X-rays.
