## Notice

My Journey Wokingham (MJW) wishes to procure a web-based product which will incentivise and challenge adults to use active travel (walking and/or cycling) for everyday journeys. This will facilitate friendly and fun competition between individuals, employers (including departments within employers) and other groups of people, for example walking or cycling groups. The objectives of the active travel challenge are to: * Reduce car travel in favour of active travel across the borough; * Achieve long term behaviour change from car travel towards active travel across the borough; * Support WBC Health and Well-being board by offering a "free at the point of use" challenge supporting physical activity; and * Support WBC climate emergency group by capturing information around reductions in CO2. The challenge is intended to increase the number of individuals who are engaging with WBC's My Journey Wokingham programme. The challenge will act as a standalone product whilst also linking effectively with other MJW offers and workstreams including adult cycle training, business engagement, personalised travel planning and contribute to the climate crisis/carbon neutral agenda.
