The Corporate Procurement Team, alongside Commissioners at Southend-on-Sea Borough Council are holding a supplier engagement event on Tuesday 8th September at 9.30am the Tickfield Centre in Southend-on-Sea. We have a number of contracts that are due to expire in March 2016, and we are looking at different opportunities for our Carers / Healthwatch and Advocacy services. The aim of this event is to engage with providers to discuss our requirements for each service, gain valuable market knowledge and ideas and help to shape our contracts going forward. If you would be interested in attending this event, and receiving more information with regards to these services, then please email procurement@southend.gov.uk with the names and email addresses of people who will be attending from your organisation. Please note that there is a maximum of two spaces available for each organisation. Further details will be issued to interested parties in due course regarding the agenda for the event and discussion topics that we would like to cover.
