Priority will be given to people who are vulnerable due to their age or because of disability or those who care for, and live with, someone who has a disability. The Healthy Homes Service will consist of the following: Lot 1: Minor Adaptations Service which will assist service users living in private sector homes, which are eligible for preventative services under the Care Act 2014, through minor adaptation, repair and improvement works, so that the service user is able to remain safely in their own home. Lot 2: Handyperson Service providing minor adaptation, repair and improvement works at a subsidised cost to service users who are not eligible for preventative services under the Care Act 2014.
