Companies with expertise in game-based logic and transmedia storytelling will particularly benefit, as the project seeks to create an engaging visitor experience. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to compete, highlighting the potential for growth and collaboration within the creative and educational sectors.

## Notice

EUROfusion is a consortium of national fusion research institutes located in the European Union states, Switzerland and Ukraine. It was established in 2014 to succeed the European Fusion Development Agreement EFDA as the umbrella organisation for Europe's fusion research laboratories. The consortium is funded by the Euratom Horizon 2020 programme. EUROfusion funds fusion research activities in accordance with the Roadmap to the realisation of fusion energy. The Roadmap outlines the most efficient way to realise fusion electricity. Research carried out under the EUROfusion umbrella prepares for ITER experiments and develops concepts for the fusion power demonstration plant DEMO. For years EUROfusion used a travelling exhibition called "Fusion Expo" as its main outreach tool. The main objectives were to exhibit fusion research to the public and educate them about a future with fusion energy. EUROfusion aims to build a new version of this outreach activity in line with the European Commission's "Horizon 2020" recommendations and to improve on the previous Fusion Expo. In order to fulfil these requirements and provide good key performance indicators for the objectives assigned we can't just create a good exhibition, we must create an excellent exhibition and tackle some structural limits of the exhibition media itself. A successful new "Fusion Expo" must overcome challenging structural constraint of the Exhibition media, such as the Cognitive load, museum fatigue and lack of inclusion. A "game-based rule of engagement" will allow us to decrease the general cognitive load of the entire exhibition and of specific complex topics like ITER, by increasing the playfulness of our content and limit the passive type of interactions to the strict minimum Meanwhile, a transmedia narration will allow overcoming "museum fatigue" by matching the necessary interaction time with the quantity of content displayed: Instead of one sole visit to our exhibition we wish to offer several experiences that the visitors can schedule according to their needs and wishes. The Service Provision is to design the overall storytelling and the first section of the exhibition prototype, with a game-based logic using a transmedia approach. Write a complete story with all our content embedded, with the addition of entertainment and "time-forgetting" features. Additional information: Please note: The award notice for this opportunity will not contain the actual value of the awarded contract (but will state an awarded value of PS0) so as not to prejeduce the legitimate commercial interests of the successful tenderer.
