## Summary

Birmingham City Council is currently in the planning stage for a procurement process titled "Birmingham Carers Hub - Market Engagement". This initiative falls within the health and social work services industry category and is located in Birmingham, England. The council is inviting suppliers to partake in a market engagement event set for 10th May 2022, with a deadline for expressions of interest by 9th May 2022. The estimated contract value is potentially £3 million per annum, though this is contingent on funding approval.

This procurement offers significant opportunities for businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations, to expand their services in the health and social care sector. The project aims to establish a lead provider model supplemented by a flexible supply chain, which will require a range of capabilities including support for adult carers, well-being assessments, and advocacy services. Companies that can demonstrate adaptability in meeting diverse needs in this environment will be well-positioned to compete for this contract.
