## Summary

The procurement process for "Reactive Repairs" was managed by the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, located in Worthing, United Kingdom. This project falls under the "Repair and maintenance services of building installations" industry category, with services needed across England. The tender stage has been completed, with an award made on 10th April 2026 to Lee Sullivan Contract Flooring Ltd, accessing funds of £480,000. This selective procurement was executed through a call-off from a dynamic purchasing system. The contract, covering the trust-wide repair services, commenced on 30th March 2026 and is set to conclude on 29th March 2029.

This tender presents significant opportunities for business growth, especially for companies in the building maintenance and repair sector. It involves a comprehensive framework for addressing damage ranging from accidental to deliberate, necessitating 24/7 responsive and proactive repairs to ensure operational continuity in healthcare environments. Businesses with capabilities in urgent repair and restoration services, particularly those familiar with NHS operational standards, would find themselves well-positioned to compete in similar opportunities. Although the awarded supplier is an SME, this specific procurement was not focused on SME or VCSE suitability, making it open to a broad range of potential stakeholders in similar future ventures.

## Notice

The scope of the project is trust wide. Trust properties sustain damage, both accidental and deliberate. Among reasons for this damage is wear and tear, patients damage though not exclusively restricted to these groups. Such damage has the impact of restricting Trust operational requirements in delivering care to those that need it and may compromise the standard of care given. There are 2 elements to this work requirement. Initially to attend site on a 24/7 basis to make safe and restore services to a safe and operational condition to allow services to continue. There may be further requirements to fully restore the damaged areas to its previous state which can be completed following further surveys and the supply of cost proposals to fully restore the services.
