This initiative aims to establish a framework of local service providers to deliver supported accommodation for young people who are leaving care or at risk of homelessness, including Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC). The procurement, classified under welfare services for children and young people, is in the planning stage and is gestated through a competitive dialogue process. The tender period concludes on 19 December 2019, with a total contract value of £4 million, expected to commence on 1 September 2020. Engaging with this framework can lead to sustained contracts and contribute to the improvement of local services for youth in the Warwickshire area. ## Notice Warwickshire County Council (WCC) wish to commission a framework of primarily local providers to call off beds as and when required, including emergency accommodation but also with the ability to call off block beds at a preferential rate once consistency of demand is established. The aim of the framework is to provide sufficient supported accommodation for Warwickshire's young people 16 and over who are leaving care, at risk of becoming homeless and Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) and reduce the need for spot purchases of supported accommodation. A Competitive Dialogue process will be used. Additional information: Warwickshire County Council will be using its e-tendering system (CSW-JETS) for the administration of this procurement process.
