To comply with Health & Safety requirements and improve detainee practices Border Force require a Specimen Isolation Unit to be installed in a designated Custody areas for processing individuals suspected of being involved in the illicit importation of controlled drugs by means of internal body concealments. This contract will commence in June 2017 following a sourcing exercise based on written quotation. The purpose of this document is to make the Statement of Requirements and the Home Office Terms and Conditions available, and to invite potential suppliers to confirm they can fully meet the Statement of requirements by providing a quotation along with acceptance of the Home Office terms and Conditions which will apply to this purchase.
