## Summary

The NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands is currently in the planning stage for a procurement process regarding the "Termination of Pregnancy (ToPS) and Vasectomy Services" within Birmingham and Solihull. This market engagement aims to gather insights from potential suppliers intending to provide termination services or vasectomy services, with key engagement deadlines set for 23rd February 2018. Interested parties must complete a questionnaire by 5 PM on 7th November 2017 and can also attend a market engagement event scheduled for 11th December 2017. The estimated value for these services is approximately £1.7 million per annum for ToPS services and £345,000 per annum for vasectomy services, with the official procurement process expected to commence by the end of January 2018 and a service start date anticipated for 1st October 2018.

This procurement presents significant opportunities for organisations that provide healthcare services focused on reproductive health and sexual well-being. Companies specialised in termination of pregnancy services, sexual health screenings, and contraception advice are particularly well-suited to participate. The market engagement approach is intended to evaluate the capability of potential providers to meet the service requirements detailed by the NHS, making this an ideal opportunity for businesses looking to expand their operations in the health sector.
