## Notice

GMCA & TfGM requires a highly reliable, fault tolerant and scalable Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) system to meet the initial and future voice and low volume data communications joint needs of the TfGM Bus and Tram operations. This open procurement process is to select a DMR Service Provider to design, build, support and maintain the TfGM DMR System for joint use by Metrolink and Bus Franchise. It is envisaged that the Combined DMR System will initially consist of at least 26 radio transmitter sites, up to 2000 vehicle radios, 200 portable handheld radios, 65 dispatcher consoles and a voice logging system with automated fallback to LTE (Long Term Evolution - 3G, 4G & 5G) Service provided by the UK Public Cellular Network providers.
