Overview of the Requirement The requirement is a infrastructure platform consisting of a chassis based computer (blade servers) and storage for physical hosting VMware virtual machines and VMware management platform. The solution requires 4 blade servers and resilient power supplies. For networking the infrastructure requires an I/O (input/output) module of Internal (east-west) 16 1GB ports and external 4 x 10Gb sfp ports + 2 x 1GB BaseT ports (North - south traffic) . Storage must be SSD and support Raid 5. It is preferable that the access is direct- array storage. For support the infrastructure must support VMware vSphere and management tools, and must be able to be securely managed from remote locations.
