The Energy and Bioproducts Research Institute (EBRI) at Aston University have completed the procurement of 1 x Continuous Flow Tubular Micro-Reactor to conduct catalytic reactions in flow, including liquid and gas phase reaction on a fixed bed of catalyst to allow measuring the activity and selectivity of catalysts. The reactor will be used for reactions including, but not limited to, hydrogenation, oxidation, reforming, isomerisation, and Fischer-Tropsch, supporting EBRI activities in development of low carbon liquid and gaseous fuels from biomass and waste.
