## Summary

Birmingham City Council is currently engaging suppliers in a soft market testing exercise titled "QU134 - Office Productivity & End User Devices." This initiative, aimed at gathering insights for an upcoming procurement process, focuses on the provision of support services, end-user device hardware, and a project to upgrade to Windows 10. The soft market testing period is open until 3 PM on 20 July 2018, with a planned contract period starting from 3 September 2018 to 30 September 2018. Located in Birmingham, West Midlands, this procurement falls under the category of services, particularly within the hardware and software sector.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in IT services, hardware provision, and software development. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, given the council's aim to utilise feedback from potential bidders to shape the procurement strategy. Companies that provide network management, systems consultancy, and software supply services would be particularly well-suited to compete in this exercise, which may result in a lucrative contract following the insights gathered during the initial testing phase.
