## Summary

The Shaw Education Trust is seeking proposals for catering services across eleven school locations primarily situated in the West Midlands, including notable establishments such as Kidsgrove High School and Saxon Hill Academy. The tender, titled "Shaw Education Trust - Tender for Catering Services," falls under the services category, specifically classified as school catering services (CPV code 55524000). The procurement method employed is a selective approach, classified as a restricted procedure above the threshold, with the tender period set to conclude on 11 March 2019. The contract period is expected to commence on 1 September 2019 and run until 31 August 2024, with an estimated annual value of £850,000 across all locations.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for catering businesses looking to expand their services within the education sector, particularly those experienced with high-dependency school environments. Companies that can demonstrate a capacity for managing diverse catering contracts effectively, as well as offer robust management reporting and compliance with TUPE regulations, will find themselves well-positioned to meet the needs of the Shaw Education Trust and contribute to improving student meal uptake and satisfaction.
