## Summary

The Manchester City Council is seeking a service provider for the "TC778 - Provision of cashless/mobile telephone payments" project, aimed at enhancing cashless payment methods across the city. This tender is currently in the Tender stage, with submissions required by 19:00 on 16 June 2016. The contract, valued between £250,000 and £350,000, is set to last for three years, starting 1 August 2016, with a possibility of a two-year extension. The initiative will primarily take place in the North West region of the United Kingdom and will focus on the services industry, specifically enhancing existing cash and cashless payment systems for on-street and off-street parking solutions.

This contract presents substantial growth opportunities for businesses, particularly those specialising in payment solutions, software development, or parking management services. Companies willing to engage in socially and environmentally responsible practices would be well-positioned to compete, as the Council emphasises the integration of economic regeneration objectives into the contract. Small and medium enterprises are encouraged to apply, which could open avenues for innovative providers to contribute to the evolution of the City Council's parking payment systems.
