Redcliffe Bridge crosses the Floating Harbour linking the Redcliffe Way to Welsh Back. The bridge was constructed in 1942 and comprises two fixed spans and a rolling bascule opening span. Structural modifications and a major electrical and control system refit were carried out in 1996. This tender comprises major maintenance including localised structural repairs and refurbishment/ replacement of the electrical and mechanical systems. We invite all interested contractors to a supplier's information event on Thursday 2nd April 2020 from 10:00 to 13:00 and recommend that this event is attended if you intend to bid. The Project team will explain the processes and specialist tasks required for high quality delivery of this project, and the form of tender and contract we will use.
