## Summary

Birmingham City Council is currently in the Tender stage of the procurement process for the Homeless Transition Worker Service (Tender ID: PQ0252). This initiative aims to provide support to vulnerable adults during critical transitions into independent accommodation. The procurement is focused on the West Midlands region, with a service duration of one year commencing on 5th October 2020. Interested suppliers must submit their quotations by noon on 25th September 2020 via the Council's e-tendering platform, in-tend. The maximum values for the two lots available are £71,666 for young people aged 16-25 and £107,449 for adults aged 25 and over.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in social services, community health, and those providing support for vulnerable populations. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with a background in social work and accommodation services would be particularly well-suited to compete. By providing five Transition Support Workers, suppliers can contribute to the community's health and well-being, especially in response to the increased demand due to the COVID-19 Emergency situation. Engaging in this procurement process may enhance a business's visibility and position within the public sector, fostering further growth and collaboration.
