## Notice

Swale Borough Council is inviting Expressions of Interest to tender for the provision of a lone worker solution. The contract will involve the provision of a lone worker system for approximately 140 lone workers and up to 90 simultaneously at any given time. It is preferred for the system to function using mobile phone technology, for example telephony or a smartphone app. The contract will commence on 01 August 2016 and terminate on 31 July 2019. The Council may extend this opportunity for a further 2 years. The tenderer/s who submit the Most Economically Advantageous Tender, (MEAT) will be awarded the contract. The Contract will be awarded on a 60/40, price to quality split. Of the 40 points allocated to quality, 30 will be used to evaluate all submissions. Submissions will then be ranked and between 3 and 6 contractors will be invited to demonstrate their product. The final 10 points will be reserved to evaluate those tenderers who are successfully shortlisted to demonstrate their product. Those tenderers shortlisted will be asked to demonstrate their system at a given time slot on 19th July 2016. Tenderers will be notified by 12th July 2016, if they have been shortlisted. Expressions of Interest and Invitation to Tender (ITT) must be submitted / uploaded on the Kent Business portal. The closing date for submissions of Expressions of Interest and the closing date for the ITT will be Friday, 24 June 2016 at 12:00 AM Additional information: Instructions to Suppliers: You must register and express your interest on the Kent Business Portal for this opportunity.
