The grant programme covers the financial years 2025-26, 2026-27, and 2027-2028, with secured funding of up to £300,000 for the first year. The goal is to improve the quality and inclusivity of PE and sport, upskill the school workforce, and increase engagement among SEND pupils across primary and secondary education settings. The tendering period ends on 3rd March 2025, with the contract starting on 1st April 2025 and ending on 31st March 2026. This initiative falls under the "Education and training services" industry category and is open to delivery in all nine regions of England.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those skilled in educational programmes, disability sports, and teacher training. SMEs and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to participate. Winning this grant can help businesses establish strong relationships with educational institutions, expand their service offerings, and demonstrate their commitment to inclusive education.
