The successful contractor will be required to provide a PWTAG compliant water play area which meets to safe bather specification. The proposed solution will result in reduced (low) maintenance and provide a robust, reliable Splash Pad with assured longevity of the finished product. Works required to deliver the East Park Splash Pad scheme will include the following:- * Site clearance and removal of old play features * Decommission of plant room and equipment * Decommission and Removal of derelict toilets and seal/ remove drainage runs * Clean down and survey of existing concrete footprint * Design and installation of new plant and filtration equipment to current PWTAG standards * New drainage and pipe runs * Raise levels of existing pool area to form splash pad * Install and connect new water jets * Construct new Toilet, Concession stand and wardens office * Lay resin bound path around concrete base * Realign bow top fence to follow path to form perimeter of site * Slurry coat in chosen colour(s) * Testing and Commissioning The Authority has decided not to divide the contract into lots because a specialist PWTAG compliant installer should be used to ensure compliance with current standards.
