## Summary

The procurement process pertains to the "Energy Usage POC Market Sounding Questionnaire" initiated by Transport for London (TfL). This process is currently in the planning stage, with a key milestone set for the engagement end date on 29th November 2021. TfL is exploring innovative solutions to monitor energy consumption at various rail depots across London, particularly focusing on trams, DLR, and the London Underground. Interested parties are encouraged to submit market feedback via ProContract before the deadline, which involves reviewing and completing the Market Sounding Questionnaire.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in transport equipment and software solutions, particularly those capable of providing innovative and adaptive technologies for energy monitoring. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary and community sector enterprises (VCSEs) are well-positioned to engage with TfL, benefiting from the collaborative nature of this market engagement which aims to identify and discuss potential risks, capabilities, and opportunities surrounding proposed solutions.
