Main Aims and objectives of both services are: * Reduced costs for prescribing through formulary development and adherence; * Clinically appropriate prescribing and reduced waste through regular reviews; * Reduced activity within secondary care environment; * Increased support to patients within acute episode of care; * Access to quality monitoring data to ensure service is delivering objectives. LOT A Specifics The aim of this service is to provide an efficient and cost effective supply of Dressings direct to authorised End Users with the geographical areas covered by the Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) through: * Sponsorship of Tissue Viability Nurses for the community; * Delivery of wound care within the community; * Support primary care to manage acute and complex wound care. LOT B Specifics * Sponsorship of a Continence Nurse for the community; * Efficiencies via electronic repeat prescription management; * Adherence to the formulary; * support for formulary review/development to support the use of the more cost-effective catheter products. The CCG is seeking to engage with suppliers to inform their Tender development for the above service, by asking interested parties to complete a Request for Information Form (RFI) to feed back on the current indicative draft specifications. This Notice and any subsequent dialogue with suppliers are without prejudice to any subsequent procurement and does not constitute an expression of interest at this time. How to Take Part The Contracting Authority is utilising an electronic tendering tool to manage this Procurement and to communicate with potential Bidders. Accordingly, there will be no hard copy documents issued and all communications with the Contracting Authority will be conducted electronically via the Portal.
