## Summary

The procurement process for the "Elevate Berkshire Fund" is being led by Reading Borough Council, who aims to support young people aged 16-24 in Slough through two separate projects. The procurement includes a fixed-price contract of £170,000 for Project 1 and £40,000 for Project 2, with the tender period closing on 7 December 2017. The initiative falls under the personal development training services category, funded by the European Social Fund. This procurement is facilitated through an open procedure, making it accessible for a variety of suppliers who meet the necessary criteria.

This tender presents a valuable opportunity for businesses engaged in educational and training services, particularly those focused on employability skills for disadvantaged groups, including young individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds and lone parents. Companies offering programmes that enhance employment prospects, education pathways, or basic skills training would be well-suited to participate. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary community sector enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to apply, aligning with the programme's objectives to engage and empower young people in Berkshire.
