As part of Progress Housing Groups development strategy PHG have taken the decision to undertake a small modular off site manufacturing pilot scheme with the view to carrying out further, larger, OSM schemes to meet it's Affordable homes programme. This tender is purely for companies that manufacture off site modular construction systems. No consideration will be given to contractors offering a traditional form of construction. The scheme has been submitted for planning approval though this has not been granted yet. The drawings attached to this tender show traditional construction details and should be used as a guide to the required size, layout and aesthetic appearance of the dwellings to comply with the planning application drawings. Construction of substructure and superstructure will be to the individual companies specification and requirements but internal fixtures and fittings should comply with the attached specification. An alternative quotation is requested based on constructing the two dwellings using your own standard specification of fixtures and fittings.
