## Summary

The procurement process, titled "IAPT and Community Well-being Services Ref. 15.234," was conducted by South of England Procurement Services on behalf of NHS Brighton and Hove Clinical Commissioning Group. This contract pertains to health and social work services, specifically aimed at improving access to psychological therapies and community well-being support for individuals with mental health issues. The procurement was awarded to Care Unbound Ltd (trading as HERE) for a total value of £13.5 million, covering two lots: Lot 1 for Adult IAPT services valued at £8.1 million and Lot 2 for an All-age Community Wellbeing Service valued at £5.4 million. The contracts will commence on 1st June 2017 and run for three years, with the possibility of extension for an additional 24 months. The procurement method used was "selective," employing a restricted procedure.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in mental health services and community well-being. Companies that offer psychological therapy services, community support programmes, and related health services would be well-suited to compete for future contracts, especially those that can demonstrate a commitment to inclusivity and comprehensive community health solutions. Additionally, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to participate, fostering a diverse range of service providers capable of enhancing mental health support in the South East region.

## Notice

Lot 1 - IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) Service and Lot 2 - All-age Community Wellbeing Service supports people with mental health problems in primary care settings. Brighton and Hove CCG has concluded it's re-commissioning of these services to put in place new contracts and services that will be operational from 1st June 2017. In addition to the IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) service which we expect to be aligned with the nationally mandated model, the broader Community Wellbeing Service will retain the strengths of the 'practitioner' model, but will be all ages and include additional features such as work and learning support and an advice service. It will support people who neither meet the criteria for Adult IAPT services or local secondary mental health services. The procurement was in 2 Lots * Lot 1 Adult IAPT * Lot 2 All-age Community Wellbeing Service. Both Lots were awarded to Care Unbound Ltd (trading as HERE). The 3 year primary period values for the Lots are Lot 1 - PS8.1m and Lot 2 - PS5.4m. The contracts term is 3 Years plus option to extend by up to a further 24 months. Additional information: Both lots were awarded to the same provider - Care Unbound Ltd trading as HERE.
